Traxxas 5831-BLK Slash Low CG Lower Chassis

Description

The Traxxas 5831-BLK is the low-CG lower chassis for the Slash 2WD, molded in black.

The low-CG setup uses a two-piece chassis. This is the lower half, the plate that carries the battery and sits closest to the ground, and it takes the brunt of every hard landing and every rock the truck drags over. It is the part most likely to need replacing on a low-CG truck.

It pairs with a low-CG upper chassis 5832-BLK, 5832-BLUE, 5832-DGRY or 5832-STGRY and does not fit the standard Slash chassis. If you are converting a standard truck rather than replacing a damaged part, the 5830 conversion kit covers what the swap requires.

Replace it when the plate has cracked, worn thin from skidding, or bent enough that the suspension geometry no longer sits square. A warped lower chassis shows up as a truck that pulls to one side no matter how the alignment is set.

Fits: Traxxas Slash 2WD with low-CG chassis.

Includes: one low-CG lower chassis, black.
