This 10GBASE-LRM SFP+ transceiver operates at 1310nm and delivers plug-and-play 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over legacy multimode and single-mode fibre infrastructure.- IEEE 802.3aq 10GBASE-LRM compliance guarantees interoperability with Cisco SFP+ platforms and third-party 10GbE equipment- 220m reach over FDDI-grade, OM1, OM2, and OM3 multimode fibre using 1310nm wavelength; 300m over G.652 single-mode fibre- Mode conditioning patch cord required for FDDI-grade, OM1, and OM2 fibre to meet full specifications; not required for OM3, OM4, or single-mode deployments- Hot-swappable SFP+ form factor with duplex LC connector and DOM support for real-time monitoring of optical power, temperature, voltage, and bias current- Designed for brownfield upgrades where 10GBASE-SR modules cannot achieve sufficient reach on legacy OM1 or OM2 installations
