The PAN-QSFP-40GBASE-BIDI-BCC is a drop-in compatible replacement for the Palo Alto PAN-QSFP-40GBASE-BIDI. This QSFP+ transceiver delivers plug-and-play 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over duplex multi-mode fiber using standard LC connectors, enabling reuse of existing 10G duplex fiber infrastructure.- Compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR-BD and QSFP+ MSA SFF-8436, ensuring interoperability with standards-based 40GbE interfaces- Operates at 832-918nm wavelength range with bidirectional transmission over two 20G channels on duplex LC fiber- Reaches 100m on OM3 multi-mode fiber and 150m on OM4 multi-mode fiber- Digital optical monitoring (DOM) support provides real-time access to operational parameters including temperature, voltage, and optical power levels- Hot-swappable QSFP+ form factor with commercial temperature range (0 to 70 degrees Celsius) for standard data center environments- Enables cost-effective migration from 10G to 40G by reusing existing duplex fiber infrastructure without requiring MPO parallel fiber
